Dry Meat has been a sacred delicacy for First Nations, Inuit, and Metis people since time immemorial."Pânsâwân" ("bahn-sa-wan") translates to thin sliced meat from the Cree (Nehiyaw) language. Traditionally, this meat was obtained after a successful hunt and was carefully dried and smoked for many days by the tribe's men and women, giving it that distinct flavor. The resulting Dry Meat is how our ancestors replenished themselves during the long, harsh Canadian winters.

Not good

I did not like the flavour, or rather lack there of. Dry was a massive understatement, one bite and my tongue turned into sandpaper and my mouth was drier than the prairies in fall. I do not recommend this product

Seemed dryer than my original

Don't get me wrong the taste is good...but honestly this batch seemed SUPER dry and very hard to bite into :( i was so dad because my first batch was awesome!

A nice variety

I wanted to try the starter bundle, because I wasn't sure which flavour I would prefer. Turns out it's ALL of them ❤️ Saskatoon Berry is the champion, but the rest were a close second

Not pemmican

I was so excited to order this product. A friend and I decided we were going to give them a try on a canoe trip as lunch substitutes and snacks.
I WAS SO DISAPPOINTED
This is false advertising, not only are these strips NOT pemmican, THEY ARE JUST JERKY.
They are also ridiculously expensive for jerky.

I, and everyone else who bought this was ripped off and lied to. I will not be supporting this business again and will be telling everyone I know to steer clear as well. What a let down.

Took a chance

Tried the starter bundle, bit nervous as it was an on line thing. WOW was I surprised. The pemican is great. But the dried meat was incredible. Will be ordering again.
Service was quick.
